Jennifer Garner seeks permanent restraining order

NEW YORK: Jennifer Garner is seeking to make a temporary restraining order issued against a man she believes is stalking her made permanent over fears for the safety of herself and her family.

According to papers filed by the actress in Los Angeles Superior Court, and obtained by Access Hollywood, Garner claims Steven R. Burky, 36, has been “stalking and harassing” her and allegedly turned up at her home multiple times, claiming God sent him visions related to her death.

In her declaration, Garner claims that Burky first surfaced in 2002, and “engaged in obsessive and harassing behavior.” The actress claims he sent her “multiple packages and letters containing delusional and paranoid thoughts,” and followed her “around the country, through multiple different states.”
