According to our source, “Hiten plays a Malaysia based business tycoon who is trapped by Mrinalini. His character will be long running, and his entry will bring about a big high point in the show. There are lot of twists to come in the story line in the next few episodes”.

Hiten confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am entering Chhoti Bahu. It is a long running role, but I really do not know how the role will shape up”.

According to our source, “Chandan plays the college mate of Leher and Bittan (Parul Gulati). His character name is Omi; he is a spoilt brat, a typical gunda type guy who will be after girls. He will literally trouble Leher in all ways possible. The actor has started shoot, and will enter sometime this week”.

The track will now focus on the problems Leher will face because of this guy. Now it will be up to Abeer to protect his lady love from this problem.

Star Plus and Rajan Shahi’s Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai

According to our source, “The show will see some remarkable twists and turns in the next three episodes, starting from tonight. Parul Chauhan’s brilliant performance is one of the highs in the episodes to come. It will be very interesting to see how this track culminates, and the manner in which the sisters gets together. Once together, there will be no stopping for them, and they will together try to tie the loose ends in their family. Bidaai had been written off by critics once the ratings started to drop, few months back. But the show has stood the test of time, and has bounced back to be one of the top shows across channels. Bidaai has been at the #2 position across all channels for the past two weeks.

As the truth sinks into her, she gets into all kinds of mood swings, she starts to hate herself and feels like she will go mad the next moment. Sadia who played the dance teacher of Ragini (Parul Chauhan) in Star Plus’ Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai will play a special role in Sasural Genda Phool.

When contacted, Sadia told us, “I play the role of Radha, the adopted daughter of Dadaji (Sudhir Pandey) and Dadiji (Anita Kanwal). There is a back story related to me that will unfold later. I have been brought up by this family from the age of 14, and I love everyone. I am loved and respected by all in the family, and they come to me for any help they need”.

“Radha had gone to her village, and she will be getting back to her house very soon. I think my entry is happening in tonight’s episode”, adds Sadia.

When asked about the reason why she took up this show, the actress states, “The first reason for me taking this role is Ravi Ojha ji. He gave me a call and asked me to do this role, and I just accepted. And Sasural Genda Phool is one unique show wherein every character shown has a back story. I knew that I will not be wasted in the show”, quips Sadia.

On working with such a huge cast, she states, “I personally know every actor present in the show. I have also worked with many, and it feels like being with my family”.

Anandi aka Avika Gor

While a section of tabloids suggested that Avika will soon come back from the dead, there was also a buzz that the girl has bagged a big banner film and that has forced her to quit the show.

According to our source, “There is nothing big in it. This big twist of Anandi getting injured has been incorporated so that Avika Gor gets her much-needed break to study for her annual exams and appear for it. Hence, the track of Jagya (Avinash Mukherjee) running out of the house was planned”

“In the coming episodes, Anandi will try to save Jagya from a series of bullets shot by the goons, and will ultimately take them on her body. This will leave the girl struggling between life and death, and she will soon slip into coma. Avika will certainly come back to the show once her exams get over. However, the track for this has not been planned yet”, adds our source.

Sonali tells us how it all started. “I was done with my commitment for my debut show Hum Dono Hain Alag Alag and was looking for new opportunities. That’s when Niluji of Sphere Origins’, who knows me quite well, gave a call to inform about the auditions for the role of Kavita. When I heard about Kavita I realized she’s very much like me and came for the auditions in good spirit. Guess it worked and I bagged the role!” she gushes.

Talking about the contrast Mallika has with Kavita, she says, “There’s a huge contrast between the two characters. But that’s where the challenge is and I guess, without taking them you can never succeed in life.”

She elaborates about her character Kavita saying, “Kavita is a very bubbly girl. She is loving and is very close to her Aastha Bhabhi (Pallavi Subhash). She has to achieve a very fine balance between pleasing both the kinds of people in her family. Some are very protective of their traditions and don’t like any sort of change. Others are free-spirited and like to walk their own way. So Kavita is always trying not to hurt both the parties and also trying to maintain harmony among the family members.”

So did she always want to be an actress? “No I had earlier planned to be an air hostess but now that I’ve stepped into the acting field I want to grow here. There’s no turning back!” she signs off.

Even the last time around, Telly Buzz had written a story which said that Karan would get back to the show, right on time to stop the marriage of Riddhima (Jennifer Winget) and Sid (Karan Wahi). But things did not fall in place for Karan then, and his comeback did not happen.

But now, he is certainly coming back and Telly Buzz has got a confirmation on this.

According to our source, “Talks about Karan Singh Grover’s comeback were on for quite a while now. But things got finalized day before yesterday, and the higher authorities from the channel and production house got into a consensus that they will bring Armaan back into the show”.

Now that Sid and Riddhima are married, and when Riddhima is gradually getting closer to her husband, things will take a drastic turn when she comes face to face with her first love, Armaan.

Elaborating on Armaan’s comeback our source states, “Armaan had been suffering from a psychotic disorder all this while, and he was not at all responding to treatment. He believed that Riddhima had not survived the accident, and this very thought of losing her had made him physically weak, and he did not have the urge to survive and fight the battle against the illness. But things took a different turn when Armaan saw Riddhima in Panchgani; this motivated him to get better in health. Even when the doctors thought that Armaan would never get back to sanity, Armaan’s health condition improved, and he is now back”.

“After getting fit, Armaan organizes this Nationwide Concert where his aim is to raise funds for people who suffer from such psychotic illness, and his last destination happens to be Mumbai. This is where he gets back to Sanjeevani”, adds our source.

“Armaan being what he is, comes back to Sanjeevani all excited, with a hope of getting back the love of his life. But he is completely shattered when he gets to know that Riddhima has in fact married Sid.  The moment he realizes that Riddhima is married, he will want to leave the place forever. But it is Dr. Shashank who again makes him stay in the hospital, and Armaan joins Sanjeevani as a doctor”, further informs our source.

The coming track will see some breathtaking chemistry between Armaan, Riddhima and Sid. Now that Riddhima has transformed into the typical wife, she will also not be comfortable in the presence of Armaan. On the other hand, Armaan too will not like to come between Riddhima and Sid. But Armaan and Riddhima chemistry being so powerful will compel them to revisit their past memories, which can never be forgotten.

Telly Buzz got a confirmation from Palki Malhorta, Script Head, Cinevistaas, “Yes, Karan Singh Grover is back to the show. He will be starting shoot with us in a day or two. His comeback will really bring some great sequences between Armaan-Riddhima-Sid”.

As per the latest reports, Karan has already shot for his comeback promo that will go on air very soon. He will be starting shoot either today or tomorrow.

Telly Buzz also got to know that the news about a love track emerging between Armaan and Suvarna (Madhura Naik) is not true at all, and this development is not on the cards. Palki Malhotra too accepted that this was false news.

A little birdie told us, “Rahul grew quite fond of Dimpy as the show progressed. He even apparently requested the production house  to allow  her to consume alcohol against the show rules. The two would spend private moments with each other after the shooting was over”.

Our source further adds that Rahul was very protective of his future wife’s image and tried his best to clean the internet of pictures of Dimpy in a bikini etc. He even wanted  Dimpy to give him her facebook account pass word.

“It was this growing closeness between Dimpy and Rahul which annoyed Nikhunj and she apparently decided against getting married to him.  The two were supposedly having an affair and she entered the show just to get married to Rahul. This decision of Nikhunj had actually cleared the gates for  Dimpy, for  the real competition  was always between  Nikhunj and  Dimpy, and Harpeet was never in contention”, ends our sources.

Sony’s YRF

According to our source, “The channel has already given a green light to the production house to start working on Season 2. The current season which includes 4 fiction shows ( Mahi Way, Powder, Seven and Rishta.com) and one non fiction(Lift Kara De) will end in June – July. The new season might or might not follow season one’s ending. There may even be a time gap as it happens abroad”, says our source.

Sony Business Head, Mr. Ajeet Thakur says ” We will soon make a announcement in this regard. Certain shows in the YRF band might continue, while others will be replaced.  Seven and Mahi Way have given us decent enough numbers.  The latter show is quite edgy (A girl looking for a boy friend), yet it has found connect with the audience”.

On the shows which have not done well, Mr. Thakur says, “Agreed Powder has not got good numbers yet, but it has a loyal fan following. This drug based thriller is quite pacey and if you miss one episode you feel left out”.  About the lack of success of Lift Kara De, Thakur says, “We wanted to be loyal to the concept of doing some for the underprivileged.  We could have easily shown that in the last segment but we did not want fun and games with celebs to spoil the seriousness of the issue.”

Could his silence about Rishta.com mean that that this marriage bureau based show will not last the season change?  Shruti Seth who is playing the lead role in Rishta.com blamed the audience for her show not doing well, “I guess  the public likes rona dhona and village based stuff.”
Our source also dismissed criticism that the band did not get good ratings as a whole. “We always knew that ratings would be slow, for fresh  content takes time to pick up and we are confident that we will get better numbers as the show moves on.”

The khabru also did not think that the change of time slot owing to IPL will affect the ratings. Our research shows that our core audience (Youth) tunes into TV only at late nights on weekdays.  Mr. Thakur on his part said, “I will at least wait a year before saying whether we have clicked or not”.

The story is about a mentally challenged guy and a rich Rajput fellow who fall for the same girl. Aniruddh Dave will in all probability play the mentally challenged person. The story is set in Himachal Pradesh.

We had already mentioned that popular actresses from television were considered to play the female lead. As per the latest, two big names have been short listed, and they await a confirmation from the channel and production house. They happen to be Sanjeeda Sheikh and Divyanka Tripathi.

According to our source, “The race is now between Sanjeeda Sheikh and Divyanka Tripathi. But it looks like Sanjeeda might have an edge over Divyanka in bagging the role, as the latter has been part of a similar project Banoo Main Teri Dulhann wherein the male lead was mentally challenged”.

We called Sanjeeda Sheikh, but she rubbished the news and said that she is not offered the role.

We tried calling Divyanka and even sent her a text message, but she remained unavailable.

Sanjeeda Sheikh was last seen in Kayamath while Divyanka’s last was Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.

Gaurav Sharma

The young lad has earlier been seen in Ladies Special and Palampur Express. He is also presently seen in Zee TV’s Jhansi Ki Rani, wherein he essays the role of Vinayak Rao, Prince of Kashi.

Gaurav is now upbeat as his new show Jamunia is all set for launch, in which he plays the lead role of Jai Thakur.

Talking about his role in Jamunia, Gaurav says, “Jai Thakur is a guy who possesses all the good qualities that a woman will look forward to in her husband. He is very decent, sweet and down-to-earth, and respects his Tauji (Mohan Joshi) a lot. To tell you more, my on screen character is similar to what I am in real life, perhaps Jai is better than Gaurav (smiles)”.

“Jamunia is very much different from other shows. It is not monotonous to the eye, and we are sure that viewers will like it”, ensures Gaurav Sharma.

Jamunia the protagonist of the show, played by Bhavna Khatri stays with her Mama and Mami, who push her to do all errands in their house. They decide to get rid of her by giving her in marriage to Jai Thakur, who happens to be the nephew of Thakur Gajraj (Manoj Joshi). And as per their destiny, Jai falls in love with Jamunia at first sight, and she too develops love for him. But the twist to the tale is that the family of Thakur Gajraj is cursed, as every woman who has come to stay in the Haveli has met with an untimely death.

The show is all about the trials that Jamunia faces after getting married to this family.

Jamunia will launch on March 8th, and will take up the 8.30 PM slot from Monday to Friday.

Neil Bhatt aka Abhi

According to our source, “The lady sent out a personal request to the Producers of the show, Seema and Sudhir that she wanted to meet Abhi. And Sudhir took time out from his hectic schedule and took Neil Bhatt to the hospital”.

Coincidentally, the lady’s name is also Manju, same as Simi’s mother’s name in the show. Manju Kumar too has three daughters, and lives in Delhi.

“Manjuji was excited when she got to know that Abhi was coming to the hospital to meet her. She even told Neil that she would have loved to wear a good dress, but since she was in the hospital she could not afford to do so. The lady chatted with Sudhir and Neil for nearly 2-3 hours, and requested the hospital staff to click her picture with her favourite character from television, Abhi”.

When contacted, Neil Bhatt told us, “Yes, it was a very emotional moment for me, and felt happy on seeing her smile. She was super excited and was talking about how she wanted to dress. She also promised to cook Aloo ke Parathe for me once she gets out of the hospital. She blessed me and wanted me to keep in touch with her. I have also promised to keep in touch with her, and wished her a speedy recovery”.

Producer Sudhir Sharma too described the pleasant experience and said, “The lady happens to be a friend of one of my family friends, and when she sent us a request, I readily took Neil Bhatt to the hospital. She is a big fan of his, and enjoyed every moment with him. She even promised to cook for us Aloo Ke Parathe once she gets discharged. God willing, we will be going again to meet her, taking with us others from the cast”.

This is indeed one special moment that Neil will cherish forever….
